I'm not a St John's student. May I use the library? May I study at your library?
Answer
A Library Access Card is required for visitors who are not entitled to a St. John's University ID (StormCard) or Courtesy Card when seeking to gain access to the Queens Main Library.
Annual Library Access Cards can be purchased for a yearly fee of $25 after filling out an application. Applicants must present a valid United States issued Photo Driver's License; a DMV issued Non-Driver Photo ID; or a valid unexpired Passport which will be copied for file. Library Access Cards expire each year on August 31.
Library Access Cards may be obtained at the University StormCard Office in the Public Safety Building on Goethals Road. Many services - including submitting applications; making payments; and card verification/pickup - are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. For more information, call (718) 990-6257 during normal business hours or (718) 990-6281 At all other times
